Mar 5, 2010 Updated resource out for Nucleus. Thirty percent (30%) increase in grade and ounces over July 2009 initial resource. See press release below.

Feb 10, 2010 - Initial metallurgy tests show excellent recoveries. See release below.

RESOURCE CALCULATIONS FOR NUCLEUS AND TINTA ZONES

  • Updated Nucleus: NI 43-101 Inferred Resource of 1,004,000 contained ounces of gold within 35.82 million tonnes @0.87 g/t gold (0.4 g/t cutoff) which includes a higher grade zone of 184,000 contained ounces of gold within 2.2 million tonnes @ 2.55 g/t gold (0.4 g/t cutoff)
  • Tinta (July 2009): NI 43-101 Inferred Resource of 70,000 contained ounces of gold, 2,010,000 ounces of silver, 8,000,000 lbs of copper, 25,700,000 lbs of lead and 42,800,000 lbs of zinc within 1,390,000 tonnes at 1.62 g/t gold (0.3 g/t cutoff), 44.93 g/t silver, 0.26% copper, 0.84% lead, 1.04% zinc

2009 FREEGOLD MOUNTAIN DRILL PROGRAM FINISHED SEPTEMBER 18.

  • 44 diamond holes (10,441 m) drilled.
  • 21 Rotary Air Blast (RAB) holes 1,242 metres drilled.
  • 120 km of ground geophysics.

    2009 NUCLEUS ZONE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Drilling confirmed continuity of the higher grade sulphide-rich horizons.
  • Drilling defined further gold mineralization inside and outside the resource boundary.
  • A large scale shear structure was identified along the southern edge of the Nucleus deposit which has potential to host additional mineralization.
  • Updated resource estimate due by end of March, 2010.
  • Initial metallurgical tests show excellent gold recoveries in the 92-98% range.

The concept for Northern Freegold Resources Ltd. began during the bear market in junior mining of the 1990's and focused on the Mt. Freegold area of south-central Yukon. Management was able to take advantage of these conditions by assembling a very impressive land package (64 square miles) by way of property acquisition and consolidation.

The Freegold Mountain Project, includes a number of mineralized zones that host established inferred resources (N43-101 report). Known gold occurrences (in excess of 15) within this project provide the opportunity to expand this resource plus an excellent environment for new discoveries.

The Burro Creek Property is located 1.6 km off State Highway 93 in Mohave County, Arizona. The Property covers a low-sulphidation epithermal vein system that has been traced for over 1.7 km and exhibits widths of up to 45 metres. Previous exploration on the property has focused on a 300 metre strike length in the central block of the exposed vein system and outlined a historical gold and silver resource of 2.6 million tons with an average grade of 0.03 oz gold and 1.1 oz silver per ton.

A solid management team consisting of seasoned mineral exploration industry executives, coupled with robust metal and financial markets gives Northern Freegold Resources and its shareholders an unprecedented opportunity to expand and develop the large land package that is now the Freegold Mountain Project and unlock its mineral wealth.
