The concept for Northern Freegold Resources Ltd. began during the bear market in junior mining of the 1990's and focused on the Mt. Freegold area of south-central Yukon. Management was able to take advantage of these conditions by assembling a very impressive land package (64 square miles) by way of property acquisition and consolidation. The Freegold Mountain Project, includes a number of mineralized zones that host established inferred resources totaling 700,000 ounces of gold (N43-101 report). Known gold occurrences (in excess of 15) within this project provide the opportunity to expand this resource plus an excellent environment for new discoveries. The Burro Creek Property is located 1.6 km off State Highway 93 in Mohave County, Arizona. The Property covers a low-sulphidation epithermal vein system that has been traced for over 1.7 km and exhibits widths of up to 45 metres. Previous exploration on the property has focused on a 300 metre strike length in the central block of the exposed vein system and outlined a historical gold and silver resource of 2.6 million tons with an average grade of 0.03 oz gold and 1.1 oz silver per ton. A solid management team consisting of seasoned mineral exploration industry executives, coupled with robust metal and financial markets gives Northern Freegold Resources and its shareholders an unprecedented opportunity to expand and develop the large land package that is now the Freegold Mountain Project and unlock its mineral wealth.
